Let’s Not Forget, What Used to Work in Marketing Still Does!

Let’s face it when you are selling something, the product, the service, or pushing out those key messages about ‘your brand values’, the what we stand for, the consumer decides and will always make the final decision.

One thing l have learnt and ingrained in my mind has been the word ‘multiples’. You may call it buy another name, however this word should always be at the forefront of thinking for obvious reasons for people in marketing. No doubt it is in most cases, but when it’s all too conflicted with too many opinions, just fall back by remembering the basics.

To reach people with your message, we tell that important story right about your brand or product, and how it associates with people’s needs. Also it’s about what they believe, who they trust and #1 Simple Rule Still Applies, They Must See It multiple times is succession and so it’s in consideration.

If people can associate your offering with their passions, you are halfway home. Whilst marketing planning is much more complex than this post, it all starts right here, what used to work still does, so tell your story!!!

Are people listening or simply not hearing, your intuition & learnings drive results to help others, lead them your way!

Should you move on, or debate the right steps head on?

If you are the expert advisor/consultant take it head on, never allow people to direct your intuition when your experience tells you otherwise. Reflect back on ‘your key foundation learnings’, where you know great results have been created, or lasting relationships have been built. Remain mindful they employed you to advise them, so always lead the way.

If you want to get things done, speak up, use your persuasion, and/or debate the rights and wrongs. Some people need to be told how, let’s face it, and most will respect you for doing so.

As for the rest, let them go and save your precious energy, reflect on how some of the greatest people have done it, God bless SJ.
